THEA’s Mission
The mission of the THEA Foundation is to advocate the importance of art in the development of our youth through educational and promotional activities and to encourage individual participation in art through scholarship, partnership, and other programs.

There are many ways to get involved with the THEA Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of the youth of Arkansas.

Volunteer
There are opportunities throughout the year to volunteer your time during a THEA event, special project or at the THEA Foundation Center for the Arts. If you would like to place your name on the volunteer list

Business and Family Partner Scholarship Program Donation
Support an Arkansas High School Senior by helping with the cost of their college education. You can donate as little as $500 or you may sponsor a scholarship in the following amounts: $4,000, $3,500, $3,000, $2,500, or $2,000.

Your donation will place your name, business, organization, or another person’s name, on the scholarship certificate. You will receive a plaque honoring your support, a personal note from the scholarship recipient, and an invitation to the awards ceremony.

Thea’s Art Closet Donation
Many teachers receive an allotted budget that is too small for purchasing the necessary art materials for teaching class and must use their personal money to supplement what they need. Some art teachers do not receive a budget of any kind.

We feel that a quality education should include courses that teach self expression.  Students gain confidence in these subjects, and this confidence is invaluable to them for their success in all areas of learning.

$1,500 will support 1 elementary school
$2,500 will support 1 high school

Support the school in your community with a donation to the THEA Foundation Art Closet today!
