THEA’s Mission
The mission of the THEA Foundation is to advocate the importance of art in the development of our youth through educational and promotional activities and to encourage individual participation in art through scholarship, partnership, and other programs.

There are many ways to get involved with the THEA Foundation to help make a difference in the lives of the youth of Arkansas.

Volunteer
There are opportunities throughout the year to volunteer your time during a THEA event, special project or at the THEA Foundation Center for the Arts. If you would like to place your name on the volunteer list

General Donation
If you would like to give to THEA’s general fund supporting all of our programs you may do so by sending a check made to: THEA Foundation, to 401 Main Street, Suite 100, North Little Rock, AR 72114. Please call for credit card donations: 501-379-9512

Business or Family Partner Scholarship Program Donation
Support an Arkansas High School Senior by helping with the cost of their college education, you can donate as little as $500 or you may sponsor a scholarship in the following amounts: $4,000, $3,500, $3,000, $2,500, and $2,000.

Your donation will place your name, business name, or loved one’s name on a one year scholarship for the upcoming school year of a THEA Visual or Performing Arts Winners. The award is sent to the college of the student’s choice once enrolled in full-time. You will receive a plaque of support, a personal note from your student and will be invited to the THEA Awards where your student will receive their scholarship.

Thea’s Art Closet Donation
A quality education should include courses that teach students self-expression through the visual and performing arts. Students gain confidence in these subjects and this confidence is invaluable to them for their success in other subject areas as well.

Many teachers receive an allotted budget that is too small for purchasing the necessary materials for teaching class and must use money out of their own pockets to supplement what they need. And then there are some art teachers who do not even get a budget. We feel this is due to a lack of understanding as to the significance of the Arts in the educational process. Purchase a year’s supply of quality art supplies for one elementary school: $1,500 to support a high school: $2,500. Support the school you attended with a directed donation to Thea’s Art Closet!
