The Art Department Presents Guy W. Bell

The sixth installment of Thea Foundation presents The Art Department will feature the works of painter Guy W. Bell in an exhibition titled “Fourteen Minutes and Fifty-Nine Seconds: A Selection of Recent Works by Guy W. Bell,” which will debut with a reception Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, from 6:30 to 9:00pm. at Thea Foundation. Feb. 6, $10 at the door covers heavy hors d’oeuvres by Ben E. Keith, an open beer and wine bar, a live musical performance by John Willis and Late Romantics, and the chance to win an original work by Guy W. Bell. Bell's work is well known in his home state of Arkansas. His painting "Cain & Abel" was selected by Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art's exhibition "State of the Art." Limited edition signed prints of "Cain & Abel" are available from Thea Foundation for $125, with 25% of the proceeds benefiting Thea.
