Thea Foundation to Host Drawing Exhibition From AMR Architects, Inc.
In March, Thea Foundation will host the AMRtists Drawing Exhibition, featuring quick sketches from AMR's talented team of architects and designers. 100% of works sold will benefit Thea Foundation's statewide programming, supporting creative learning and arts education across the state of Arkansas.
“For 12 years AMR has practiced their ‘quick sketch’ skills to kick off their week,” said Heather Davis, one of the participating AMR architects. “This exhibit is a look at over 400 of these sketches, which results in a fun mix of artistic styles and subject matter and reiterates the importance of keeping up the hand drawing techniques that are essential to the field of architecture and design.”
The opening reception will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 5 to 7 p.m. The event is free to all who would like to attend and is sponsored by Lost Forty Brewing, Heritage Catering, Mountain Valley Spring Water and Colonial Wines & Spirits.
The AMRtists Drawing Exhibition will be on display through March 27, 2020. For the opening reception, all of the drawings will be available for purchase. Interested individuals can keep up with event updates on the Facebook event page.
