Help us support creative learning for the 478,000 K-12 public school students and the 33,000 teachers in Arkansas. Thea Foundation provides the needed art supplies and resources to help equip as many classrooms as our budget permits. We can do more. We need your assistance to inspire young minds to think creatively. Together, we can fund the future of the Arts for Arkansas’s youth.

At the high school level, Thea’s resources not only include funding more expensive/specialized project needs through Thea’s Art Closet grants, but also Thea’s Arts Reconstruction program invites Arkansas high school art teachers the opportunity to receive professional development during the summer. In combination with the professional development, Thea also provides all necessary equipment and supplies to implement the new visual arts medium in the teacher’s classroom during the following school year.
This donation level helps promote arts enrichment in an Arkansas middle school classroom. Through Thea’s Art Closet, Arkansas grades 6-8 teachers are eligible for funding for up to $750 for a project valued at $1,500 or less for up to four times per school year.
Your gift aids in supporting an Arkansas elementary school teacher seeking to implement creative learning in their classroom. Thea’s Art Closet provides Arkansas teachers at the K-5 grade level the opportunity to apply for art supplies and creative materials for up to $500 for a project valued at $1,000 or less four times per school year.
Help provide the necessary resources to incorporate arts education for an Arkansas public school student. Thea Foundation receives annual grant requests from Arkansas teachers across the state in need of art supplies and other creative materials. Your gift contributes to supporting funds for one student, whose life may be permanently impacted by the power of the Arts.
Any gift to Thea Foundation will help support our three impactful programs implemented statewide—Thea Scholarships, Thea’s Art Closet, and Arts Reconstruction. Help us continue to promote the importance of the Arts in the education of Arkansas’s youth, reverse the trend of budget cuts to arts programming, and help young people across the state of Arkansas receive impactful educations and financial help for higher education.

Every year, we hold Thea's Day of Giving on December 6 and invite our supporters to take part in furthering arts education in Arkansas. December 6 is at the heart of our foundation’s mission as it is the birthday of Thea Kay Leopoulos. Named for the daughter of Paul and Linda Leopoulos, Thea Foundation carries on the legacy of Thea, who thrived academically, socially and emotionally thanks to her artistic pursuits.
